Yoga Alliance Awards Nancy Dundatscheck Grant to Host International Yoga Days this Summer!

Highlands Natural Pool at 150 Snake Den Road, Ringwood, NJ
Sandra Ramos' Purple Quonset Hut (on 2 Ellen Lane, Ringwood, NJ)
(all within one block of eachother) in Ringwood, NJ

June 18th, 2016

12:00 noon: Introduction and guided meditation with Nancy Dundatscheck, RYT 200 hr., in the New Weis Picnic Pavilion.

1:00-2:00 p.m.: At the famous purple quonset hut of Sandra Ramos, historical leader of the women's shelter movement of New Jersey, will give a discussion on the Yoga of Resistance! Please bring a blanket.
2 Ellen Street, Ringwood, NJ, one block from the New Weis Ecology Center! Free admission and light refreshments available.

2:00 p.m.:  Free 15 minute affirmations circle with additional musical kirtan and chanting with Sandra Ramos, Nancy Dundatscheck, RYT 200 hr., and residents of the women's shelter and guests at 2 Ellen Street.

3:00 p.m.: Discussion of Native American Sweat lodge for purification and the opportunity to do a lodge the following Saturday and Sunday at Kunse Keya land several blocks from the New Weis Center, sponsored by Lakota leader Beverly Little Thunder. Presented by Nancy Dundatscheck, former sweat lodge firekeeper.

3:30-4:00 p.m.:
Aqua yoga class between 3:30-4:00 pm at the Highlands Natural Pool, within the New Weis Ecology Center. Limit 6 participants for free admission. Led by Nancy Dundatscheck, RYT 200 hour Yoga Alliance Instructor. Bring a bathing suit!

June 26th, 2016

12:00-1:15 p.m.: Special Kundalini meditation and yoga class with instructor Gianpreet Kaur from Poland!
At the New Weis Ecology Center/Highlands Natural Pool, Ringwood, NJ. Free admission. Light refreshments available.

2:00 p.m.: Free guided camera hike with nature photographer Nancy Dundatscheck to the old ruins at Norvin Green State Forest a short distance from the New Weis Ecology Center. Please bring any camera and repellent. Pool swim optional. Don't forget a bathing suit!

4:00 p.m.: Chair Yoga class with RYT 200 teacher Nancy Dundatscheck with bilingual interpretation in Spanish.

6:00 p.m.: Brief Eurythmy demonstration by ESL tutor and actor Bing Hahn from China, with yogic breathing and how it is used in acting. Free. Please bring a blanket.

7:00 p.m.: Sound healing ceremony at the New Weis Ecology Center Picnic Pavilion. Bring your voice. We will have some special instruments on hand such as healing gong and singing bowls led by Gianpreet Kaur. Theme: Heal the Earth. All welcome!
